Introduction

Picture this: a freezing changing room. Towels are damp, the air is biting, and people are just miserable.
We built our shortwave infrared halogen heaters to fix exactly that. They don’t just blow warm air around. They deliver focused, radiant heat straight to the towel rail. The whole point? Turn that icebox into a warm, comfortable space in seconds.

The Power Behind the Heat

Here’s the thing about these heaters: they’re seriously powerful.
We run them on a 400V supply. That lets us pack a lot of heat into a small package. Inside a compact 300mm quartz tube, you’ve got a 2500W element. That’s a lot of power concentrated in a short space.
And that’s exactly why it heats up so fast. You wire it in, and the rail surface hits its sweet spot almost instantly.
But power like that comes with responsibility. A 2500W tube throws off heat fast, so the mounting, the wiring, and the surrounding area need to be up to the job. If the heat can’t be managed properly, the components will burn out sooner. So when you plan the electrical hookup, you have to plan the thermal path just as carefully.
