We build mantle electric fireplace heating elements for engineers who need a heat source they can actually count on—one that looks the part, too. These aren’t flimsy decorative bulbs. They’re industrial-grade halogen heaters, built to deliver steady, radiant heat in a seriously compact package. Here’s the thing: these elements run at 400V and are rated for 2500W. That combo packs a lot of heat into a small footprint. And at 300mm long, they slip right into existing fireplace housings without a fight. Running at 400V keeps the wiring load lighter, but it does mean you need a control system that can handle that voltage. We use a quartz envelope filled with halogen gas. It keeps the filament stable when things get scorching, so you don’t get premature burn-outs. The R7s connector is a straight, double-ended base that locks in solid—both mechanically and electrically. The quartz glass and internal coating handle thermal shock, so the element can cycle on and off without cracking. In a mantle electric fireplace, this setup gives you quick radiant heat and a warm, realistic glow. The R7s base makes it a simple drop-in replacement in compatible fixtures. But—and this is important—it runs hot. So the surrounding housing needs proper airflow or thermal shielding. If you want a heater that installs fast, stands up to repeated cycling, and just keeps working, this is the spec to go with.
